  • As soon as your date is set! Because Brock House in Vancouver books up quickly (often 18 months in advance), the sooner you can secure the venue, the better! With key event suppliers like DJs, florists, and planners also filling up quickly, especially during peak seasons like spring, summer, and the holidays, we recommend starting your planning at least six months ahead to help secure your ideal venue and venues. It’s also noteworthy that Saturdays in June through September, as well as late November and December, are typically the most in demand.

  • Absolutely! Peake Catering is the exclusive caterer at Brock House and a full-service provider for all your food and beverage needs. As a leading Vancouver event catering company, we offer professional staff, rentals, décor, and a fully licensed bar service. Our team is certified with Serving It Right and experienced in crafting bar menus featuring beer, wine, highballs, and custom cocktails tailored to your event. We are also proud to feature BC wines, local craft beer, and artisanal spirits that reflect the best that our region has to offer.

  • We require final guest numbers five business days before your event. After this deadline, we may be able to accommodate small increases on a case-by-case basis. However, reductions in guest count cannot be made within this timeframe.   • Yes! Tastings are an exciting part of the planning process, giving you a chance to experience our chef’s exquisite creations firsthand. Tastings start at $150 per guest (with a minimum of two guests) and feature a thoughtfully curated presentation of your selected menu. If your food and beverage costs exceed $5,000 (pre-tax and service fee), the tasting cost for two guests will be credited toward your event. Tastings are available once your event date is confirmed and a non-refundable deposit has been received.   • Yes! The venue rental fee at Brock House includes premium in-house china, cutlery, glassware, buffet service items, tables, chairs, and white linens.   • We do our best to accommodate last-minute orders whenever possible! However, there are times when our kitchen reaches full capacity, and we are unable to take on new requests. Our priority is always to maintain the highest quality of food and service, ensuring your event experience is never compromised.

    When we can accept rush orders, additional fees may apply to cover the extra resources needed. Being flexible with a “Chef’s Choice” menu also increases the likelihood that we can fulfill your request.   • We accept credit cards, electronic funds transfers (EFTs), cheques, and money orders for your convenience. For event bookings, our deposit schedule follows specific timelines, which may also be impacted by any holds your bank imposes. Please note that credit card payments are subject to a processing fee.
