Alcohol Service

Peake Catering | Events is a fully licensed caterer. This allows us to provide liquor licensing for all your celebrations and special occasions. All of our staff have their Serving It Right Certification which is required by law for service of alcohol.

Liquor Program

Peake offers a wide range of internationally and locally crafted beer, wine and spirits, designed to suit all palates. Our three-tiered liquor program has set prices based on a per-drink basis and is designed to offer the best products to fit a variety of budgets. We are more than happy to collaborate with clients in creating a custom* menu.

Types of Service

Of the many options for style of bar service, we find the following categories to be most popular:

  • A Hosted Bar is where you, the host, purchase all drinks for guests. Our event coordinators will provide you with an estimate of costs based on your event parameters. Final billing is charged on consumption counts at the end of the event.
    Bar menu prices are subject to tax (10% PST + 5% GST) and service fee.

  • A Partially Hosted Bar is when a host provides a specified number of complimentary beverages (e.g. drink tickets or wine with dinner) and all other drinks are purchased by guest at the bar.

  • A Cash Bar is where guests purchase their own drinks. Drink prices will include applicable taxes. A minimum cash bar fee will apply and, for larger events, additional staff may be required to accommodate ticket sales.
